eM-patch is OBJ's low cost powerless active drug patch technology platform for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and dermatology applications.
eM-patch is a new high performance power-less patch and mask technology that employs specially configured ETP magnetic fields, rather than electrical current, to provide a low cost enhanced transdermal patch product with rapid onset, shorter application periods and deeper penetration for proprietary and genetic ingredients, molecules and peptides.
The eM-patch system comprises a proprietary magnetic array (ETP) selected and programmed to match the client's preferred needs. A custom patch formulation then ensures optimum product performance of the clients active ingredients. These are then combined by international contract patch manufacturers to create high performance low cost patch and mask products able to meet commercial objectives and customer needs.
The magnetic arrays programmed onto the ETP substrate produce complex 3-dimensional delivery fields that interacts with the product formulation, the delivery pathway and the water binding characteristics of the skin.
Different eM-patch fields provide different delivery rates and penetration profiles, depending on the lipophilicity, charge state and the ultimate biological target for the new product.
